WHO EXACTLY IS
DONNIE SMITH?

Born in 1942, Smith was raised on his
parents' dairy farm in Donnelly, Minnesota. After moving to Minneapolis,
Smith got into racing dragsters before entering a two-year tour
of duty in the United States Army. Upon returning home, Smith opened
up Smith Brothers and Fetrow, a race shop/auto parts shop with his
brother Happy and his buddy Bob Fetrow. After chopping and raking
a motorcycle frame for his uncle Elwood, Smith Brothers and Fetrow
caught the rave and began producing motorcycle frames full time,
which eventually lead to Donnie becoming one of the top designers
and fabricators of complete custom built bikes today.
